On May 23, at 3:35 a.m., TFC M. A. Moore responded to the 29000 block of Three Notch Road in Mechanicsville for a reported assault.
Upon arrival, contact was made with Tamara Elizabeth Higgs, 41 of Mechanicsville, who advised she was involved in a dispute with the female complainant, 46 of Mechanicsville. Interviews with Ms. Higgs and the complainant determined Higgs was the aggressor in the dispute.
Higgs was arrested for Second-Degree Assault and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where she will be held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
