On September 14, 2011, police units responded to a private residence in Hollywood, Maryland for the report of a burglary. The victim reported numerous items had been stolen from the residence while she was away during the day. The case was forwarded to BCI for investigation. On September 21, 2011, BCI detectives executed a search and seizure warrant on a private residence in Leonardtown, Md. and recovered several stolen items taken during the burglary.
Charles Anthony Gegor, age 34, of Leonardtown, Md. and Michelle Dawn Horton–Odell, age 36, of Leonardtown, Md. were arrested, charged with First Degree Burglary, Theft over $1,000 and Theft under $1,000. Horton-Odell was also served an arrest warrant for Violation of an Ex-Parte Order. Both subjects were incarcerated in the St. Mary’s County Detention Center pending a bond review before the District Court Commissioner.
