To start the day off, head to SOCIAL Coffeehouse & Cocktail Bar and grab yourself an iced coffee and a pastry. They have a wide, diverse menu that offers many flavors of drinks including white chocolate lattes, detox smoothies, and chai teas. The BayNet tried their rose petal chai, and it captured the essence of summer in every refreshing sip. Their food menu does not fall short in the slightest. From offering acai bowls to juicy burgers, trying to settle on one plate is almost impossible. The crab dip encapsulates Maryland and offers a hint of spice with tasty creaminess.

Next, head to the local Fenwick Street Used Books & Music and peruse their mixed selection. They sell new and used books, almost all in pristine condition. The interior is adorned with plants, art and literature, making it the perfect place to browse with a coffee. We spent much of our time there adoring their considerable variety of must-reads.

Right next to the bookstore is a newly opened Meow Dyer Cat Cafe. They sell teas and cookies and have incredible prices to hang out and relax with the precious cats. They have a selection of time limits to play with them, ranging from 10 to 55 minutes. The room is filled with cat toys, cozy seating and plush decorations. It is so easy to sit back and relax and enjoy the company of all the kittens. When our time limit was up, we were shattered that we had to leave the most lovable, pleasant creatures. The store itself is perfect for cat lovers, with an impressive assortment of clothing, kitchen supplies and cat-related accessories.

This area is also the perfect place for a soothing walk with friends. Murals and breathtaking art cover many of the walls of the downtown area, making it an aesthetically pleasing view. It is extremely vibrant and full of summer colors, making it an amazing place to take photos.

To end the day, go to The Slice House and grab yourself a slice of their irresistible pizza. The BayNet purchased a slice of their special cheeseburger pizza at the time, which included the toppings of onions, sausage, pickles and bacon. We also purchased a slice of pepperoni. These slices were melted to absolute perfection with a flawless balance of toppings. The pepperoni does not disappoint and lives up to being a go-to choice. The cheeseburger slice tasted smoky and flavorful and was by far my favorite.
