Lexington Park Man Arrested for CDS Violations

LEONARDTOWN, Md. – On Monday, May 27, 2024, while conducting proactive traffic enforcement on Great Mills Road in Lexington Park, MD, Deputy Joseph Senatore observed a Ford Expedition with the exhaust system dangling beneath it and attempted to initiate a traffic stop. The driver tried to evade the traffic stop by turning into a neighborhood and driving at a high rate of speed until ultimately stopping in a residential driveway.

Upon contacting the occupants of the vehicle, Deputy Senatore observed suspected CDS paraphernalia in plain view inside the vehicle. A subsequent search of the vehicle uncovered additional suspected paraphernalia, suspected cocaine residue, and crack cocaine.

The driver of the vehicle, identified as Karim Martinez Bouarfa, 27, of Lexington Park, was arrested and transported to the Detention and Rehabilitation Center in Leonardtown and charged with three counts of CDS: Possession – Not Cannabis and three counts of CDS: Possession of Paraphernalia and is awaiting a bond hearing.

  1. I see the same deputy that seems to make a lot of arrests over & over. These sort of officers grab my suspension and I tend to think that these are the officers who integrity is suspicious. Deputy Senatore
