PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. — A Lexington Park woman is facing multiple misdemeanor charges following a late-night traffic stop in Calvert County that led to the discovery of suspected cocaine residue and allegations she provided a false identity to avoid arrest.

Lisa Marie Thompson, 36, of Lexington Park, was arrested Feb. 3, 2026, and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (not cannabis), possession of drug paraphernalia, fraud – personal identity to avoid prosecution, and obstructing and hindering.

According to court documents, a Calvert County sheriff’s deputy conducted a traffic stop at approximately 11:18 p.m. on a tan Honda Odyssey after observing a malfunctioning tag light and learning the vehicle’s registration was suspended.

Thompson was seated in the front passenger seat at the time of the stop. When asked to identify herself, she allegedly provided a false name and date of birth. A records check through Calvert County Emergency Communications revealed the name belonged to a deceased individual and was listed as an alias associated with Thompson, who had active warrants.

Deputies confronted Thompson about the discrepancy. She then admitted her true identity and acknowledged she had outstanding warrants, according to charging documents. She was detained and advised of her rights.

A probable cause search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of several items containing suspected cocaine residue. Authorities reported locating a glass crack pipe inside a cigarette box in the front passenger door, a metal rod behind the center console, and a cut red plastic straw underneath the rear passenger floor mat. The items were placed into evidence.

Officials confirmed Thompson’s warrants, and she was transported to the Calvert County Detention Center. The incident was recorded on an agency-issued body-worn camera.

Thompson was released Feb. 4, 2026, after posting a $1,000 unsecured personal bond.

She is scheduled for a trial – officer scheduling hearing on March 17, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. in Calvert District Court, Courtroom 2.
