LA PLATA, Md. – Registration is now open for the Port Tobacco Theater’s 2026 summer camp season, offering students of all ages the opportunity to explore the world of theater through hands-on workshops, performances and creative collaboration.
From elementary through high school, campers will build skills in acting, music, design and production while working together to bring a one-act Broadway musical to life.

Camp Registration
Elementary School — Age 6 through 5th grade
July 13-17, 2026
Join us for a fantastical journey through theatre with daily workshops ranging from acting and choreography to hair and makeup and much more!
Half-Day Sessions
AM Session: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
PM Session: 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Cost: $125 per camper
Middle School — Grades 6th through 8th
July 20-25, 2026
Show: Saturday, July 25
8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday-Friday
9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Saturday
Join in on helping produce a one-act Broadway musical. Actors, singers, designers and technicians are all needed for this wonderful collaboration. Performances of the show produced will be held Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. No experience necessary!
Full-day session: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Cost: $250 per camper
High School — Grades 9th through 12th
July 27-Aug. 1, 2026
Show: Saturday, Aug. 1
8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday-Friday
9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Saturday
