Man arrested after alleged drunken break in attempt

PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. – On December 28, 2018 Dfc. Y. Bortchevsky responded to 30th Street, Chesapeake Beach for a domestic disturbance.

The complainant advised John Joseph Requilman, 43, was banging on her front door in an apparent attempt to break in the house, which caused approximately $500 worth of damage. Requilman was not at the residence when Deputy Bortchevsky arrived, however, he was located at a nearby address where he was asleep and highly intoxicated.

Requilman was placed under arrest and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center where he was charged with Third Degree Burglary, Malicious Destruction of Property < $1,000 and Disorderly Conduct.
