Man Cited for Stealing Water at McKay’s

On Dec. 18, at 3:58 p.m., TFC D. Brill responded to the McKay’s Foodland store in Leonardtown, for the reported theft under $100. 

Upon arrival, contact was made with the male employee, 58, of Leonardtown.  The employee advised that Zach Milton Mattingly, 49 of Leonardtown, took a bottle of water from the store without paying. 

Mattingly was charged on a criminal citation for theft under $100.  He was given a preliminary inquiry court date of Jan. 2, 2009 and released at the scene.
