On April 13 at 11:14 p.m., Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to the 3400 block of Medway Street in Indian Head for the report of a fight.
Officers made contact with the suspect, Michael Tyrone Thompson, 25 of Waldorf, and another man. At that time, Thompson attempted to eat a small amount of marijuana. He fled on foot as officers initiated an arrest. Thompson was arrested a short distance away and the marijuana was recovered.
He was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and failure to obey a lawful order.
