On August 7, deputes responded to a report of an assault on Big Chestnut Road in Clements.
Investigation revealed Christopher Wayne Quade, Jr., 21 of Clements, was engaged in a verbal dispute with the victim which escalated into a physical assault when Quade struck the victim in the mouth knocking one of her teeth out.
Quade was arrested and charged with second-degree assault.
