Man Stabbed In Lexington Park, Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries

UPDATE – 8/20/24 – Great Mills Man Arrested Following Stabbing Incident In Lexington Park. The victim is currently in stable condition.

LEXINGTON PARK, Md. –  On August 19, 2024, at approximately 5:42 p.m., police and emergency personnel responded to a stabbing in the area of Canopy Liquors on Great Mills Road. 

Police arrived and found the victim suffering from stab wounds. Once the scene was secured, EMS evaluated the male patient and transported him to MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital with life-threatening injuries. The suspect has not been identified at this time.

Police remain on the scene and continue to investigate the incident.

  1. I’m seeing so many things wrong in this story and I’m just looking at the pics. Why would there be a Miller lite sign anywhere near the sheriff annex and then the “back to school” reminder (a few days away) in at this chaos.. can we please just chill. Why so stabby and angry? There is a mental health annex right by where this stabbing took place, please GO THERE if you’re feeling such rage!
