On Sunday, St. Mary’s Deputies Harold Young and David Yingling were in a Lexington Park neighborhood conducting pro-active enforcement actions when they attempted to contact a subject on a street corner.
The suspect, Gregory Riley, 29 of Lexington Park, fled on foot and a chase ensued.
Police say Riley discarded marijuana as he fled which was recovered.
Once apprehended he resisted arrest before being taken into custody. There were no injuries to any of the involved parties.
Additional Arrests, Summonses Served
Susan Anne Hines, 37 of Mechanicsville, was charged by Deputy James Maguire with passing a worthless check valued at $50.
Renee Kimberly Pilkerton, 33 of Hollywood, was charged by Deputy James Maguire with passing a worthless check valued at $100.
Colette Regina Thomas, 29 of Lexington Park, was arrested by Deputy Harold Young for passing a worthless check valued at more than $25.
Philip Edward Meagher III, 36 of Elkton, was arrested for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle by Deputy Megan Guy.
