On September 18, 2015, Deputy B. Fennessey responded to the 24000 block of Pin Cushion Road, for a reported domestic assault. The victim alleged the suspect, William E. Walter, age 53 of Leonardtown, threw the victim to the ground and kneeled on the victim’s neck during an argument. The victim displayed injuries consistent with the allegations. Walter was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. He was charged with 2nd Degree Assault.
