Barstow, Md. – A man is being held pending a bond review after breaking a sprinkler head in a booking cell.
According to the Maryland State Fire Marshal Adam Commodore was waiting for a bond hearing in booking cell 1 at the Calvert County Detention Center when he broke a sprinkler head.
This caused a flow of water throughout the cell and $200 worth of damage
. Commodore was removed from the area, causing a disruption of security and activities at the detention center.
Commodore has been charged with false alarm and destruction of property.
