Dr. Mark Frazer cordially invites you to swizzle cocktails and mingle with dignitaries on Saturday, February 13 at The Westlawn Inn in North Beach, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
The cocktail hour event will support Mark’s candidacy for the 2010 King of Mardi Gras, United Way of Calvert County’s annual fundraiser benefitting 36 local human service programs. Guests will enjoy a selection of hors d’oeuvres and fine wines courtesy of The Westlawn Inn, and experience the lovely sounds of “supper club” jazz with Satin Doll Trio.
Political chatter is also on the menu, from a formal greeting by Desiree Sayle, Former Director of Correspondence for the Bush Administration, to a chance meeting with Senate President Mike Miller, Delegate Sue Kullen, or Candidate for Governor George Owings. A spectacular Mercedes Benz Convertible being raffled for this year’s Mardi Gras will be on display with raffle tickets for sale.
Advance payment for this exclusive event is required by February 10, and cost is $30 per person, or $50 per couple. Additional donations are welcome. Cash or checks made payable to United Way of Calvert County, can be mailed to The Westlawn Inn at P.O. Box 124 North Beach, MD 20714.
