ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Maryland Renaissance Festival opens its doors this weekend, starting on Saturday, August 24th from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.  The festival is held in Anne Arundel County at 1821 Crownsville Road, Annapolis, Maryland 21401.

At the Maryland Renaissance Festival, you can experience many festivities including unique foods, street performances, and eye-catching magic acts. There are also performances and special offers that change week-to-week, leaving visitors with a reason to attend on multiple dates.

From August 24th through September 8th, an adult ticket for people aged 16-61 is $26.00, tickets for seniors above 61 are $23.00, and children aged 7-15 can enter for $14.00. Children under 7 will be admitted to the Maryland Renaissance Festival free of charge.

After September 8th, adult tickets will be sold for $32.00, senior tickets become $28.00, and tickets for children aged 7-15 will be $18.00. During the weekend of August 24th and 25th, one child aged 7-15 can enter for free per purchase of an adult ticket.

If you can’t visit the Maryland Renaissance Festival this weekend, then you can attend on a different date in August, September, or October. You’ll find a list of the festival’s active dates below.

  1. This festival is like entering another world. Long ago I dredged through the stubby path to the Columbia site. The mud men were clean fun. Many a photo has been taken of wizards, wenches and medieval wares. ❤️
