Master Sergeant Tony Verdiglione #240
WALDORF, Md. – Today, the CCSO family is saying farewell to Master Sergeant Tony Verdiglione #240. M/Sgt. Verdiglione is a 29-year veteran of the CCSO. Throughout his career, he has served in the Corrections Division, Patrol Division, Community Policing Section and Crime Prevention Section. He says some of his favorite memories are from his time in Community Policing, “working with the dedicated community leaders and citizens to improve the quality of life and foster good relations among the citizens and police. Feeling that at some point that I made a difference by being fair, understanding, and compassionate while still enforcing the law.”
Outside of work, M/Sgt. Verdiglione enjoys the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and gardening. In his retirement, he looks forward to being able to travel with his wife, do some home improvements and share his love of the outdoors with his father and grandson.
“Tony V”, you absolutely made a difference in the lives of many. You are an asset to the Sheriff’s Office, and to this community, and you will be so greatly missed. We wish you the very best in your well-earned retirement. Remember that you are always part of our family and we will always be here if you need us! #CCSOPRIDE
