MECHANICSVILLE, Md. — Emergency crews responded to the scene of a serious crash involving a single vehicle and a utility pole along Thompson Corner Road near Esh Way at approximately 1:03 p.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2025.
Initial reports indicate the vehicle may have struck the pole with enough force to split it in half. Multiple medic units and ambulances were dispatched to assess injuries and secure the area.
