Meet PFC McGill and PFC O'Shields from the Charles County Sheriff's Office

WALDORF, Md. – Meet PFC McGill and PFC O’Shields. PFC McGill has been with the CCSO for 5 years but was a deputy for the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office for 7 years before that. She is a Maryland native and currently lives with her family in Virginia. PFC O’Shields has been with the CCSO in the Patrol Division for 18 years. He served in the Marine Corps prior to becoming a Police Officer. He and his family live in Charles County.

These two officers recently responded to a car accident, and the victim took the time to commend them for their work.

She said “I felt protected, cared for and helped in the best way anyone would wish to be. PFC McGill and PFC O’Shields reflect very positively on the Sheriff’s Department and I want to thank you and both of the officers for their exemplary conduct in helping someone in need.
