LEXINGTON PARK, Md. — A familiar name in Lexington Park’s dining scene is entering a new chapter, as Mi Tierra Restaurant Bar & Grill prepares to welcome guests to its newly launched full-service bar — adding vibrant nightlife energy to its already popular Latin cuisine.
The expansion, set to begin Friday, April 24, introduces an international bar experience to the Great Mills Road location, blending handcrafted cocktails, global beverages, and weekend entertainment into one destination.

Mi Tierra, already known for its Latin American and Mexican cuisine, is expanding its offerings with a full bar designed to elevate the dining experience and draw in a wider crowd.
“Our focus will be on an international bar featuring a full range of cocktails, as well as both domestic and international beverages,” the owner said. “You will find beers from every country in Latin America.”
The addition reflects a growing demand for more nightlife options in Lexington Park, while staying true to the restaurant’s cultural roots.

Alongside the new bar, the restaurant continues to emphasize its commitment to quality and authenticity in the kitchen.
“We also boast a kitchen serving the finest Latin American and Mexican cuisine in the immediate vicinity and throughout the Washington, Maryland, and Virginia metropolitan area,” the owner said. “All of our ingredients are 100% fresh; in fact, we are the only restaurant in Lexington Park that consistently brings fresh products directly to our customers’ tables.”
