ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Local Annapolis arts festival Arts Annapolis will take place next Saturday, June 13.
The event will have multiple locations — the Maryland Avenue and State Circle events will take place from noon to 6 p.m., while the West Street and Calvert Street events will go from noon to 10 p.m. All events are free and open to the public.
Arts Annapolis is an annual event featuring music, vendors, outdoor dining, food trucks and more. The festival is designed for attendees to get immersed in local art, and includes live musical and dance performances, “make and take” art opportunities on-site for kids and tango lessons. Attendees will also get to see plenty of visual art and experience arts demonstrations like glass blowing.
Inner West Street Annapolis is putting on the event and is best known for its curated downtown Annapolis events, like Dinner Under the Stars and associated fundraisers. According to the Arts Council of Anne Arundel County, Arts Annapolis is a “prototype” for a multi-day arts and cultural event to come in 2028.
Additionally, the festival is part of Annapolis Arts Week, a weeklong celebration of the arts and artists in the city. Annapolis Arts Week runs from June 7-14 and includes a calendar of events to celebrate art and community. Events range from festivals like Arts Annapolis to gallery walks and theater performances.
Arts Week is sponsored by AND Creative Gallery, the Arts Council of Anne Arundel County and Parris Underground.
You can learn more about the Arts Annapolis festival online and see the Arts Week calendar for all the events.
