The Annual Military Appreciation Holiday Craft and Vendor Fair will take place on November 1, 2012 at Lincoln Military Housing Community Center, located at NAS Patuxent River from 4pm to 8pm.
As a way to kick-start the holiday shopping season and give back to those who serve/have served, many of the vendors will be offering discounts and specials to those with military IDs or CAC cards. Additionally, many of the vendors will be donating their profits back to non-profit military-specific organizations such as the Wounded Warrior Project.
Organized by a military spouse, the event was created as a means to give other military spouses – active duty and retired – as well as base personnel, with home-based businesses and/or craft abilities, a venue to sell their wares while paying tribute to those who serve our country.
