FAULKNER, Md. — Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 16-year-old girl from Charles County who may have traveled to Baltimore, Knoxville, or Washington, D.C.
Summer Marie Harbison was last seen on March 1, 2025 in Faulkner, Maryland, according to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. Law enforcement officials and advocacy groups are urging residents in the region to remain vigilant and report any possible sightings.
Described as a 16-year-old female, Harbison has distinguishing features including a pierced nose and lip, along with tattoos on her right forearm, ankle, and left hand. She may also wear glasses.
Investigators have not disclosed the circumstances of her disappearance but say she could still be in the local area or may have traveled to nearby cities. The Charles County Sheriff’s Office is leading the search and is asking anyone with information to call 1-301-932-2222.
Harbison’s case has been entered into the National Crime Information Center under NCIC# M288312871. The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children has also issued an alert, encouraging the public to come forward with any tips.
