Here are a few lines about my mom.

I am now 29-years-old with a child of my own and have a much better perspective of why mom said โ€œnoโ€ a lot.

My mom was a single mom and devoted her life to me. She took me to school and made sure I had everything I needed as a child.

She has always stood by me no matter how much at the time I disagreed with her. She did her best to teach me the right things in life but also allowed me to be my own person.

When I made a mistake she helped me back up. When my life came crashing down she always protected me. She was there through all the bad relationships and boyfriends that were Mr. Wrong, and she shed a tear when I told her I had finally met Mr. Right.

If you ask her opinion, she is just an everyday ordinary mom. She will never realize how wrong she is.

She has given me everything she could and then some. She has done without just so I could have new clothes.

Many a night when I was little she would stay awake and sew my dresses so they would be ready for prom, homecoming, etc. She has helped me in more ways than I can ever express. She has taught me more than anyone else. She is my hero. I hope to be as good a mom as she has been to me.
