Motor Vehichle Collision on St. Andrew’s Church Road

On March 16, 2011, Deputy Scott Ruest #204 responded to

for a motor vehicle accident.  Deputy Ruest determined vehicle one operated by Deanna Lynn Lowe of Leonardtown was traveling south on St. Andrews Church Road when her vehicle crossed the centerline and struck vehicle two operated by Caroline R. Hedegaard of Lusby.  Lowe was transported to PG Shock Trauma by Maryland State Police Helicopter Trooper 7.  Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the collision which is still under investigation.
