Bay District Volunteer Fire Department, Ridge Volunteer Fire Department, Ridge Volunteer Rescue Squad, EMS and Police responded to a motorcycle accident at 4:37 p.m. on Tippett Road in Lexington Park.
Upon arrival the motorcycle was found crashed into a wooded area with the motorcyclist missing from the vehicle.
A intensive search then began and the operator was found a short time later on Rt 235 heading north on foot requiring medical attention.
