
CLEMENTS, Md. — A motorcyclist was airlifted to a trauma center following a crash Monday evening in St. Mary’s County.
The collision was reported at approximately 5:10 p.m. on April 13, 2026, in the area of Budds Creek Road near Woodmark Court in Clements.
Initial reports indicated the motorcyclist had been struck by a vehicle and was suffering from serious injuries, including bleeding and difficulty breathing.
Emergency crews responded to the scene, and Maryland State Police Aviation Command Trooper 7 landed in a nearby field. The patient was flown to an area trauma center for treatment.
The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.
