NEW UPDATE- Motor vehicle accident reported with medevac requested

“Hermanville Road has been reopened at Sewell,” according to the St.Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office. 

UPDATE- 10:25 p.m. 

According to the St.Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office, “Motor Vehicle Collision on Hermanville Rd near Sewell. Expect road closures and delays. Avoid the area if possible.” 

UPDATE- 10:00 p.m. 

As a result of injuries sustained from this motor vehicle accident a medevac (helicopter) has been requested at this time. 

Lexington Park, MD— At approximately 9:50 p.m., a motor vehicle accident was reported at Hermanville Road in the area of Lexington Park. 

Two vehicles are reported to be in the roadway. Injuries are reported as a result of this motor vehicle accident. Units have been dispatched to the scene of the accident.
