MSP completes investigation into reported stabbing

Update 6/21/17 10 a.m.

Lexington Park, MD – Maryland State Police confirmed with TheBayNet.com that a reported stabbing in the Patuxent Homes subdivision Friday night proved to be inaccurate.

The 9-1-1 call made to police that night was for a reported stabbing victim along North Essex Drive. Both police and emergency medical technicians responded to the scene.

A 25 year old male victim was found with what was believed to be stab wounds to the face.

After MSP conducted its investigation, it was concluded the victim fell and suffered several cuts to his face.

Update – Police and EMT are on the scene with a 25 year old male with stab wounds in the face area.
