
WALDORF, Md. — A multi-vehicle crash Wednesday morning in Waldorf prompted a significant emergency response and left at least one person injured.
The collision occurred on March 26, 2026, in the area of Mattawoman Drive, where multiple callers reported several vehicles involved.
Emergency crews were dispatched around 10:48 a.m. and arrived to find a multi-car crash scene. Firefighters and EMS personnel evaluated those involved while law enforcement secured the area and managed traffic.
A 23-year-old female was transported to UM Capital Region Medical Center for treatment. Additional individuals were evaluated at the scene, though the extent of other injuries has not been released.
Units remained on scene for over an hour while clearing the roadway and assisting those involved.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
