NAWCAD – The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Business & Financial Operations Department is soliciting candidates for the Financial Management Career Program (FMCP).
These candidates would serve as Financial Management Analyst Interns at the GS-07 with promotion potential to GS-11. These positions could be located in Patuxent River, MD; St. Inigoes, MD; and Arlington, VA area.

Duties
- You will perform or advise on work in any of the phases or systems of budget administration.
- You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organization’s programs and administrative operations.
- You will provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organization’s programs and activities.
- You will formulate budget and cost estimates to support plans, programs, and activities
- You will develop, determines and interpret budgetary policies and practices.
Qualifications
- Possess a degree earned within the last 2 years in finance, accounting, management, actuarial science, or other related degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum GPA of 2.95
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance
