The North Point boys and Girls Indoor track teams ran away with the SMAC meet at the PG Sports Complex in Landover on Saturday. The Huntingtown boys finished second and the HHS girls had a third place showing.
Top individual performances included three wins by Shavon Briscoe in the Girls 55 meter hurdles, 500 meter dash and she was part of the winning 4 x 400 meter relay team. She also finished second in the high jump. Jessica Gass of Leonardtown had three wins in the 800, 1600 and 3200 meter runs.
In the boys category, Ryan O’Connor of Northern won the 800 and 1600 meter runs and was part of the winning 4 x 800 meter relay team. Champ Page of Lackey won the 300 and 500 meter dash and finished second in the 800 meter run.
