On January 8 at 9:18 p.m., an unknown suspect entered Simpsons Store at 8350 Oliver Shop Road in La Plata and handed an employee a note demanding money.
The victim initially thought the note was a joke and refused to comply.
The suspect then displayed a handgun at which point the victim activated an alarm. The suspect, described as a white male, between 5 feet 8 inches tall and 5 feet 10 inches tall, fled the store without obtaining money.
