Waldorf, MD – On March 25 at approximately 5:15 p.m., a freight truck made a right-hand turn onto Sub Station Road from Old Washington Road in Waldorf and ran over a fire hydrant.

The damaged hydrant began to flood the road, and public utilities responded to shut the hydrant off and clean the road up, which had begun to erode and was covered in mud. The driver of the truck is unknown.
