Huntingtown, MD – On Feb. 3 at about 2:00 p.m. one vehicle reportedly ran into a tree.
There was only one vehicle involved in the accident. The car involved reportedly ran off of the roadway and ran head on into a large tree.
The driver was the only person in the vehicle and was flown by helicopter to Prince Georges Trauma.
Pond Woods Road was open on one lane traffic until the helicopter arrived. The helicopter landed in Pond Woods Court and all traffic was stopped for about 30 minutes until the helicopter cleared the scene.
