
FORT MEADE, Md. – On the morning of Feb. 14, emergency crews responded to the NSA campus at Fort Meade in Anne Arundel County for reports of a shooting.ย
Sources say that three people were shot in the incident and Fort Meade officials have confirmed that one person was hospitalized. Officials state that the shooting suspect is in custody and no longer poses a threat.ย

The incident took place at the NSA entrance gate on MD-32 around 7:15 a.m. The Anne Arundel County Fire Department provided assistance and the FBI is investigating the situation.

NSA Police and local law enforcement are addressing an incident that took place this morning at one of NSA’s secure vehicle entry gates. The situation is under control and there is no ongoing security or safety threat.
