WELCOME, Md. — Emergency crews responded to a rollover motor vehicle crash Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2025, on Port Tobacco Road near Tipton Place that left one man injured.
The crash was reported just before 1 p.m. when callers described an overturned vehicle with one occupant outside. A member of the Nanjemoy Volunteer Fire Department arrived first and confirmed a man was sitting nearby after getting out of the vehicle.
Rescue units from multiple agencies were dispatched, and paramedics ultimately transported the 66-year-old man by ambulance to the UM Charles Regional Medical Center with injuries not considered life-threatening.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
