On Friday, October 3rd at approximately 2:30 pm, there was a report of a single vehicle on Lower Marlboro Road in Sunderland.
The accident was a single vehicle that left roadway and struck a homeowner wooden fence. It was just the driver in the car, which was an elder woman. She was transported to Calvert Memorial Hospital.
The ambulance was from Huntingtown VFD, which is a new ambulance just put in service yesterday.
There were no traffic delays because of this accident.
