CALIFORNIA, Md. – A serious motor vehicle accident occurred on St. Andrews Church Road and Fairgrounds Road on the evening of February 29, 2024, leaving one person trapped and injured.
Emergency personnel were dispatched to the scene at approximately 8:05 p.m. Upon arrival, they found a two-vehicle collision with one occupant trapped. Firefighters acted promptly to extricate the injured occupant, who was then handed over to EMS for further care.
After assessing the patient at the scene, EMS transported them to MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital for further treatment.
St. Andrews Church Road between Honey Tree Lane and Fairgrounds Road will be temporarily closed following the incident.
