At 2:04 a.m. June 14, TFC P. Trossbach of the Leonardtown barrack stopped a vehicle for failing to drive in a single lane on Route 237 at Pegg Road in Great Mills.
Upon contact with the passenger, James Edward Young, 42, of Avenue, a homemade smoking device, containing crack cocaine, was observed on the floorboard.
Young was arrested and charged with possession of CDS paraphernalia on a criminal citation and released from the scene. No criminal charges were filed on the driver.
