Walker, Chaun Darnell Jr.

WALDORF, Md. – On February 24 at 8:02 p.m., officers were investigating a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of an apartment complex on Aldermans Place when they observed a car drive through the lot and strike a parked vehicle.

Officers were able to stop the car as it attempted to leave the scene of the collision. Upon further investigation, officers recovered two fully loaded firearms from a passenger who was in the striking vehicle – one was a fully loaded polymer 9mm “ghost gun” – meaning the gun did not have a serial number – with a loaded extended magazine and the other was a 9mm semi-automatic handgun, which was reported stolen in another state. Both guns were in the passenger’s waistband. A small amount of marijuana was also recovered.

The passenger, Chaun Darnell Walker, Jr., 21, of Waldorf, was arrested and charged with possession of a loaded firearm on a person, illegal transporting of a firearm, possession of a stolen firearm, and other related charges. The driver was issued traffic citations.

On February 25, a judge released Walker from the detention center on the condition he meets the requirements of electronic monitoring. The investigation is continuing.

  1. Judge, Sir, Why would you release this person to build more ghost guns and commit more crimes? We don’t need bail or pleas or early release or parole. Truth in sentencing. 5 years automatic for guns. 10 years automatic for ghost guns. We put judges in office to do a job and they are failing society when they do things like this. Common sense please.

      1. Get off baynet, literally nobody likes you, you post off the wall comments that nobody cares about, shut up for crying out loud

  2. LMMFAO WOW!!! So you’re telling me that one moron may or may not do prison time bc the other moron can’t keep it between the mustard and the mayonnaise when the fuzz is watching? Ladies and gentlemen, here you have the last two people on earth who should ever commit another crime. Also, kudos to the judge for being a real martyr against gun violence. Hopefully all of his tax free attorney rebates help him to sleep better at night. He’s just a shot caller for the biggest gang in md anyway. Way to follow suit and do your part turning a place that was once one of the America’s best locations to live into a place where people can’t even leave their house without worrying if they’ll be hit by a stray bullet or drunk cop. Also, why do we need 3000 cops in Southern md if the spineless judges are just gonna let all of these fecal stains on society back out on the street? I say the judge is a bigger POS than the Sundance kid and his elite getaway driver.

    1. “Also, kudos to the judge for being a real martyr against gun violence.”
      noun
a person who is killed because of their religious or other beliefs.
“saints, martyrs, and witnesses to the faith”

      Obviously a Charles County education…

and here, you answered your question in this grammatical beauty, “Also, why do we need 3000 cops in Southern md if the spineless judges are just gonna let all of these fecal stains on society back out on the street?”

  3. Gypsies, tramps and thieves….Southern MD is loaded with them. Generational welfare from cradle to grave has done this to a once-decent American community.
