We would like to introduce Dandy to you. Dandy is a 14 year old neutered male tuxedo cat.
Dandy’s mom begged St. Mary’s Animal Welfare League (SMAWL) to take in her four babies, as she could no longer care for them. She was going into Hospice. The most important thing to her before
heading into Hospice was to make sure her beloved cats would be cared for.
Dandy is the only one still looking for a place to spend his golden years. He is a delightfully spunky cat. He is about 15 pounds and is in great health. He has a slight allergy to fleas (breaks out in bumps on his back if he should get fleas), but he does great with monthly Frontline. He loves all the volunteers and people that come to visit at the Castle, and gets along great with all the other cats. We were told that he also does fine with dogs.
We know we are going to have a hard time finding a home for him, due to his age. He is such a sweet boy; we would really love it if someone could find room in their home for him. As always, you will find SMAWL at PETCO every Saturday 10-2 and every Saturday and Sunday at the Cat Castle in Callaway 11-3.
