District Heights, MD – Homicide Unit detectives are actively working to identify and arrest the suspect(s) who shot and killed a man in District Heights. The victim is 30-year-old Damario Cooper of District Heights. Preliminarily, detectives do not believe this was a random crime.
On April 6th, at approximately 7:40 pm, officers responded to the 6200 block of E Hil Mar Circle for a shooting. Responding officers located the victim outside suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Detectives are working to establish a motive and identify suspect(s).
