PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. — The Chesapeake Garden Club, in partnership with Calvert Library, will host a spring plant sale and gardening Q&A session on Saturday, May 9, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Fairview Branch.
The event will take place at the community venue behind the library and will feature a wide selection of plants and garden items just in time for spring and Mother’s Day.
Shoppers can browse a variety of offerings, including native plants, vegetables, herbs, perennials, irises, daylilies, ground covers, hostas, swamp flowers, Black-eyed Susans, annuals and hanging baskets. Garden décor and arrangements will also be available.
Beginning at 11 a.m., attendees will have the opportunity to ask gardening questions during a Q&A session with a Master Gardener.
Organizers say the event is designed to help community members prepare their gardens for the season while learning from local experts.
Calvert Library strives to make its events accessible to all. For access questions or accommodation requests, call 410-535-0291.
