UPDATE – On Jan. 17, at approximately 11:22 a.m., deputies responded to Antelope Trail of Lusby for a report of a stabbing.
While on the way deputies located the suspect, Timothy Barton, of the same address. Mr. Barton was walking a short distance away from the residence when he was located. He was apprehended without further incident. An investigation revealed Mr. Barton stabbed his father a 53 year old male of the same residence. The victim was transported to Calvert Health Medical Center, and eventually airlifted to Prince Georges shock trauma. The victim is currently in critical condition.

LUSBY, Md. – On Jan. 17 at 12:01 p.m., the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office reported of police activity on Chisholm Trail located in the Chesapeake Ranch Estates of Lusby. Chisholm Trial has been shut down until further notice.
Those in the area are advised to use caution.
