ย Second Degree Assault

On March 9, 2011 Deputy Snyder responded to St. Maryโs Hospital for a report of
an assault. Investigation revealed Patricia Maria Dawe, 37 of Helen, Maryland was
engaged in a verbal dispute with the victim at a residence on Chaptico Road in Helen,
Maryland. The verbal dispute escalated into a physical assault when Dawe struck the
victim in the head and slammed his hand in a door. Dawe was located, arrested and
charged with second degree assault.

Burglary and Theft
ย
On March 9, 2011 Deputies responded to the Family Adventure Center in Leonardtown,
Maryland for a report of a suspicious vehicle. Investigation revealed Steffen Gerald
Farmer, 34 of St. Leonard, Maryland was at the center claiming he was working on the
air conditioning units. Further investigation revealed the information Farmer provided
was false. Farmer was in possession of burglary tools, broke into and removed copper
coils from the air conditioning units. Farmer was arrested and charged with burglary
and theft.

Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance

On March 11, 2011 Cpl. Dodson stopped a 2011 Lexus on Great Mills Road. The
driver, identified as Patrick Bradley Johnson, 21 of Lexington Park, Maryland, failed
to stop at a stop sign. Upon contact with Johnson Cpl. Dodson could smell a strong
odor of burnt marijuana emitting from Johnsonโs person. Cpl. Dodson also observed
suspected marijuana on the seat and on Johnsonโs lips. Further investigation revealed
Johnson to be in possession of a glass smoking device containing suspected marijuana.
Johnson was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous
substance, suspected marijuana and possession of controlled dangerous substance
paraphernalia.
