White Plains Burglary

Sometime between Nov. 1- 9, suspects forced entry into a residence in the 4200 block of Jambeau Place in White Plains, and stole a PlayStation video game system, games and other DVDs and fled the scene.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriff’s Office at 301-932-2222. Officer R. A. Gilroy is investigating.

Out-of-County Shoplifter
At 5:47 p.m. Oct. 20, TFC F. Dolinger of the Leonardtown barracks responded to Wal-Mart for a reported shoplifting complaint. Wal-Mart’s theft prevention officer advised that he observed a subject place two DVD movies (Tales from the Crypt and Blade) and a Playstation Video Game (Fight Night 2004) into his coat and leave the store without paying.

The suspect, 17 year old white male from Lusby, was taken to the State Police Barracks, processed and released to his mother pending disposition by Juvenile Justice Authorities.

Power Generator Snatched

At 8:45 a.m. Oct. 27, TFC F. Dolinger responded to 45475 Sue Drive in Lexington Park for a reported theft. The victim advised that they (St. Clement’s Crossing Construction) were putting new siding on the residence and had left a Coleman Power stroke generator at the scene overnight on October 26.

When they arrived on the 27th the generator was missing. Investigation is continuing.

Chainsaw Stolen

At 10:11 a.m. Oct. 31, TFC T. Quade of the Leonardtown barracks responded to Queen Tree Road for a reported theft. The victim advised that his shed had been broken into and that a Stihl chainsaw/model E14; Stihl chainsaw/model 011; Stihl chainsaw/model 015 and a Troy Bilt Power Washer had been stolen. The items have been entered into Miles/NCIC as stolen. Investigation is continuing.

School Bus Enforcement Continues

At 7 a.m. Nov. 8, TFC W. Goldston of the Leonardtown barracks worked the School Bus Enforcement operation. The primary focus of the operation is to insure that citizens are stopping for school buses when the flashing red lights are activated and children are being picked up or dropped off.

Registration Sticker Peeled
At 10:52 a.m. Nov. 8, TFC M. McLean of the Leonardtown barracks responded to the United Pentecostal Church, Lexington Park, for a reported theft.

Investigation revealed that sometime between Oct. 30 and Nov. 6, 2005 the validation sticker had been stolen off of the tags from the church’s bus. The sticker has been entered into Miles/NCIC as stolen.

Don’t Ignore Court Dates

At 8:55 p.m. Nov. 10, TFC J. Linger of the Leonardtown barracks arrested Ohmer Watson Webb IV, 22, of Mechanicsville, on a warrant for failing to appear in court for charges of Possession of Marijuana and DUI. Mr. Webb was taken to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and held until a $5000 bail was posted.
