On Dec. 31, 2009, Cpl Kevin Somerville responded to Big Dogs Paradise in Mechanicsville for a person refusing to leave the establishment.
Upon arrival, Cpl Somerville learned Edmond P. Ferguson, Jr., 58 of Mechanicsville, had been asked to leave the business by management because of his reported poor behavior but refused. Cpl Somerville repeated the managements request for Ferguson to leave several times and after the suspects multiple refusals placed him under arrest for trespassing.
Edmond Ferguson was released to the custody of the St. Mary’s County Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
