St. Mary’s Vice Narcotics Detectives presented the investigation of Michael Allen Bassford, age 42, to the St. Mary’s County Grand Jury.
Suspect Bassford has been suspected of dealing prescription medication at various points in St. Mary’s County. He was apprehended with cocaine, methadone, morphine and enough alprazolam (Trade name Xanax) to indicate the intent to distribute.
Bassford was originally held without bond.
