President Donald Trump ordered the United States Flag to be flown at half-staff effective immediately until sunset, Sunday, May 24, 2020.
This is done as a mark of solemn respect for the victims of the coronavirus pandemic.
Commissioner President Reuben B. Collins, II, Esq. ordered the Charles County flag to be lowered to half-staff effective immediately and returned to full-staff on sunset of Tuesday, May 26, 2020.
This action is to honor Charles County Sheriff’s Office employee, Sharele Peters, who served over 15 years.
